DEK Builds LLC is committed to making dekbuilds.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people with disabilities.
Conformance Standard
We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, as our target standard.
Measures We Have Taken
As part of adding this Accessibility Statement, we reviewed the Site’s markup and made the following improvements: added a "skip to main content" link on every page, wrapped each page’s primary content in a semantic <main> landmark, added a visible keyboard focus outline for links, buttons, and form fields, corrected the heading order on every page so it descends without skipping a level, and connected the property inquiry form’s labels to their fields for screen reader users. We are continuing to review remaining pages, including image alternative text, against WCAG 2.1 AA and will make further updates as that review progresses.
Ongoing Efforts
Accessibility is an ongoing effort, not a one-time project. Some content, such as our syndicated blog feed and embedded press coverage, is provided through third-party sources that may be outside our direct control.
